Nails of the week!!

Left to Right: OPI Coney Island Cotton Candy, Revlon Extra Life Top Coat, Cover Girl Boundless Color Polish in Ruby Dust, Revlon Nail Bond Glue

Center: Wheel of 1800 rhinestones, tweezers

I just did my nails again yesterday! I bought rhinestones and beads online and they arrived earlier this week so I thought I'd give the rhinestones a try! The base color is in OPI Coney Island Cotton Candy, then I (tried) to layer it with the gradient effect. Then I added the rhinestones and top coat! :) What do you guys think?

I still haven't gone to Sephora to check out those products that I recently have been wanting. I really need to get on that though haha. I cannot wait to check out the Sephora located on the Vegas strip!! I've been to Vegas many times, but I wasn't into cosmetics so I never checked it out. It's ginormous by the way!!! :D ;)

Cover Girl Lash Blast Steal!

12:37 PM Edit This 18 Comments »
I love Costco!! We always get a booklet of coupons from Costco every few weeks and they are loaded with fun stuff to buy haha. I saw the coupon for $3.00 off of a pack of 3 Lash Blasts! I called Costco to ask how much this bundle is, and it's $13.99 for the pack, so it's only $11 with the coupon! What a steal! This is definitely my HG mascara, I've been using this for almost a year and I can't find any other mascara that works this well on my lashes!!

I decided that I will start posting short updates like this, because when I pile them up I forget what to post about haha. So, I'll have short and quick updates from now on. :)

I'm taking my last final of the semester in a few hours. This class is so boring and a brain wreck, it's abstract philosophy. lols If it wasn't a requirement I definitely wouldn't take it!!

I also changed my flight to San Diego to a later time in the month, I'm leaving on the 27th instead of the 18th. I'm going to Vegas with my family on the 23rd, I can't wait to go! I haven't been to Vegas for a while! I'll be sure to take many pictures! :) Only 2 more semesters left of school and I'll be done!!! I'm scared to think of the future because I'm not sure where I'll be moving to in the next few years... Anyways, have a wonderful week!

Products I Currently Want + Tsubaki

Beauty For a Living is holding a giveaway- a whole bunch of awesome prizes! How awesome is that! :D Join her giveaway! She's so nice and generous to be giving such lovely gifts. :)

NOTE: Contest ends on May 7, 6 PM. Manila time!!
Only a few hours left!

Just a quick update,

there's a few things that I'm dying to try. Have you lovelies tried any of these yet? If so, I would love to know what you thought of it. Anything Dior is a must try! :D I want to test out the Korres brightening powder too! The MUFE face primer has SPF 50, kind of like the DiorSnow, except MUFE doesn't whiten. I'm really curious about these 3, I will get on over to Sephora this week and see if they have them in store. :D

The shampoo I was using up until last week is the Shiseido Tsubaki shampoo and conditioner. When I first started using it, it made my hair really nice and smells like heaven. However, as time went by, my hair got dry, hard, and even had a whole bunch of split ends. I do not recommend this at all, I heard much better stories about the other one, Golden Repair, the white bottles. I am currently using leftover Infusium 23, the volumizing one, it works reeeeally well. It smells lovely and keeps my hair nice, soft, and voluminous my hair as well. I'm trying to look for another brand to use after I finish that bottle. I was thinking about the Shiseido Golden Repair, do you guys have any suggestions? :)

Mini Hauls + Sonia Kashuk vs. Lancome + Shimmer Bloc Obsession + Tags

Yay!! I finished with 3 classes for this semester today, only one more to go! I can finally take a break! The last month has been hell for me. Anyways, I’m off to San Diego in exactly 2 weeks! I leave May 18th, a day after my birthday. I can’t wait to get out of here; I leave just when it will start to heat up in Arizona haha.

Anyways, I’ve been trying to look for nice travel bags for makeup and skincare. I finally found some! I got it on eBay, $13 total for 2 Lancome gold quilted make up bags. I love it! They’re big as well, perfect size, cheap too!

I also recently got a new perfume, Dior Dior Addict Shine. Initially, I was going to get Dior Miss Dior Cherie, however, the fragrance got a bit too much for my nose. I am in LOOOOOOVE with Dior Addict Shine!!!! It’s a light, wonderful, long lasting scent! Definitely my favorite fragrance of all time! I’ve been using Armani White perfume for years, so I thought I’d change it. It took me forever to find the perfect one though, but I’m glad I did.

Fuz, I think you have the same one right? I remember seeing it in your makeup collection video. :D Everything you pick is awesome haha

My favorite eye makeup remover is Lancome Bi-facil (Thank you, Fuz ! :D). It's $26 for 4.2 oz or so. I was at Target the other day and saw Sonia Kashuk’s eye make up remover, $9.99 for 4 oz, it reminded me of the Bi-facil because it’s a layered eye makeup remover, water based. I didn’t think anything of it, until I saw the review of the remover on Mel’s blog! There were only 3 that I saw at Target today, so I grabbed 2, the Target near me is having a sale, 10% off Sonia Kashuk cosmetics, it was $9.99/each but I got it for $8.99/each, even better! Haha It works just as well as the Bi-facil! There's a price difference between the two as well. I love it the Sonia Kashuk one a lot too! It doesn’t smell as good as the Bifacil, that’s the only thing. Definitely a new holy grail eye makeup remover! :D Thanks, Mel!!

I have an ongoing shimmer bloc obsession!! I loooove the Laura Mercier shimmer blocs, everyone should try it at least once haha. Lookie at my collection so far! :D

~ What is your weirdest obsession?
Every sandwich or burger that I eat, I will eat around the sandwich/burger, but not straight like normal people. ~ What's your favorite comfort food?
Super spicy food and homemade mashed potato with turkey gravy lols.

~ What would make today special?
Today would be special if I could sleep like a rock tonight; I haven’t had a peaceful sleep in weeks!!

~ What would you like to learn to do?
How to apply better eye makeup lol. keke

~ What's the last thing you bought?
2 Sonia Kashuk eye makeup removers, amazing by the way, comparable to Lancome’s Bifacil.

I think Jess is a sweet and gorgeous girl! I love her makeup preference, and she has lovely skin hehe. Thanks for tagging me, darling!!

~ If you could swap lives with anyone for one day who would it be and why?
I don’t think I would swap with anyone; I’m content with being me. :D

~ If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go?
Tahiti, to stay in those individual straw huts above the clear blue water….A girl can only dream though, it’s $1K a day.. -_-

~ Which language do you want to learn?
I need to relearn Spanish haha, other than that I’d like to learn enough of each Asian language to have a conversation.

~ What do you look for in a friend?
Kindness, honesty, and fun times! :D

~ Who do you want to meet in person?
I would love to meet the lovely bloggers that I’ve met since January when I started my blog.

I would spend it on all the foods I can get in a few weeks in San Diego hehe.

~ Favorite designer?
I don’t really have a favorite, for handbags and such I would say Louis Vuitton, as for clothing, anything that fits that I really like.

~ Do you admire anyone's style?
I think everyone has a unique style to them, so it’s hard to pick, there’s something from everyone that I like.

~ Describe your personal style
I’m casual most of the time, sometimes preppy.

~ What's your favorite ice cream flavor? Italian ice cream is the best!
Green tea and red bean, anything Mochi as well haha.

~ What is your favorite makeup brand?
Definitely Dior, and Laura Mercier as well.

~ What makeup do you use a lot?
I can’t live without brow definer, eyeliner, and mascara.

Fuz's Tag!! The tag was to take a picture of what you are doing at that very moment; I was currently on my VAIO browsing blogs. hehe Thanks for the tag, Fuz!!

Can you tell I look exhausted? hehe

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week, good luck to those who have finals coming up!

Haul + Pore Strips + EcoTools

10:16 AM Edit This 21 Comments »
I recently hauled at a Nordstrom outlet, it's not Nordstrom Rack, it sells better brands at this Nordstrom Outlet. I love going there, that's where I find all of my heels. My feet are abnormally small so it's really hard for me to find shoes/sandals/heels. However, this Nordstrom outlet always has cute shoes for me! I prefer BCBG heels the MOST! BCBG makes such comfy and cute heels!!

Just some new flip flops for San Diego and Kenneth Cole flats.

It's a coin purse, I got it for 97 cents!! lol Isn't it cute! It's perfect for everyday use! I don't like to carry bulky wallets to make my purse heavy so I adore this little coin purse! :D

Biore vs. Clari-T

I've always used Biore, but a few months back I switched to Clari-T. The more I use Clari-T the more I miss Biore. Biore is a bit expensive, but well worth the money!! Clari-T proe strips break me out, it makes my nose have these red little bumps, grosss! Also, when I peel the Clari-T strips, it makes me tear, it hurts like heck! It feels like my skin is being pulled off, ouch!! So I'm back to using Biore, I found a seller that sells Biore for cheap on eBay! I got 54 strips for $20, that's an awesome price!

Moving along,

I got the EcoTools brush set at Target for $8.99

Left - EcoTools eye shadow brush Right - Studio brand medium eye shadow brush from ULTA

The left swatch is with the EcoTools eye shadow brush, and the right one is from the Studio one. See how sheer the swatch is when I used the EcoTools brush? This is also the problem with the blush brush, it's really sheer and doesn't pick up the colors of my shimmer blocs. =/ I'm in search of a blush brush!! I'm going to go to CVS and try Boots No. 7 blush brush, have you guys tried this one? I'm not into make up brushes, so I'm not willing to buy overpriced brushes. The Boots No.7 is only like $5 for a blush brush.

I think the eyeliner brush is okay, it's a little fluffy for an eyeliner brush, but it's adequate.

I'm very dissapointed on how these brushes pick up color. The brushes are rather soft, but it does not work well. I will be returning these back to Target.

The staying power of the glitter top coats are amazing!! Even after 1.5 weeks, my nails look new! I did top it off with Revlon top coat after the glitter polishes. Overall, I'm very satisfied with Cover Girl's Boundless Color polish collection. At first, I was skeptical that the quality of the polishes wouldn't' be as great as OPI, but I was so wrong.

Everything for school is due this coming Monday, take home essay exam, 10 page research paper & presentation, 2 finals on Monday!!! *screams into a pillow* -_- So I'll still be extremely busy!

On a better note, my VAIO is coming back to me right now as I speak! It's on its way hereeee, hurry uppp FedEx!! I guess all of my yelling and complaining worked haha, they expedited my issue, they shipped the mailing box to me by overnight air so I can pack up my VAIO to send it to them as quick as possible and now they're shipping it overnight air back to me!! har har This is the quickest repair yet! My Samsung LCD is still at the warehouse, I probably won't get it back for 2 weeks. -_-

I got scammed by a 10 year old yesterday at the store, she asked me to donate money for her trip to San Diego and I gave her some money then she said 'alright' and walked away. There was no thank you or anything, she has no manners whatsoever!! I want my money back. lols

Have a wonderful week, beautifuls!

Nails + Randomness

I haven't been blogging due to school and the fact that I am computer-less. My BRAND NEW Samsung LCD died on me, so I shipped that back today. That's not even it, my VAIO..I don't even know where to begin!!! They came to fix the web cam, in turn broke the left clicker on the mouse pad. -_- THEN! They came to fix the clicker, and broke the wireless switch on the motherboard. OH EM GEEE. I'm sooo frustrated and frantic right now. I called Sony and demanded a replacement, which of course they denied. I called a total of 6 times; they want me to send it to San Diego to get it repaired. I don't really want it repaired because they have messed with it so much that I'm scared something else will happen. I just really don't know what to do; I just know that I want a replacement and that I am entitled to one. It's not that I need the internet to browse, but I have papers and presentations due next week and I need my laptop and desktop..UGH, what luck I have, right? Anywho, I've missed all of you lovely ladies! :)

Don't get me wrong, I've been hauling in my time of absence, it's the only thing that's keeping me calm from all of these horrific situations. I have the worst luck with technology!!! GrRrR haha

I did my nails yesterday, inspired by Eki! Not only is she gorgeous, so are her nails! :)

I did a hot pink french with Elephantastic Pink and used the glitter polishes from Cover Girl's Boundless Color polish line.

These are the polishes I used for my nails, minus the top coat.

(OPI Elephantastic Pink, Cover Girl Boundless Color Disco Dazzle and Crystal Mist)

Moving on,

I have large gross pores and I did not know how to get them to me smaller! I've tried many products, toners and such. Until, I came across Bliss' Pore Perfecting Facial Polish!!! OMG, What a miracle!! It definitely made my pores waaaay smaller and less visible. It's not temporary either; it's actually making my pores stay smaller day after day. :D Yay! What a perfect solution for my nasty pores haha. HG scrub right here!!

I've also been using Shu Uemura's White Rcovery EX+ Cleansing oil, and I must say, it smells lovely and I do see that face is getting lighter, especially my sun spots!! After I cleanse my face, the smell is still there, it smells really refreshing. :) I definitely recommend this!!

I also got another Dior Addict Shine l/s, all because of Fuz's influence hahaha. I love hot pinks!!!

554, Backstage Pink

I also got..ANOTHER Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc, this time I got the Peach Mosaic...In my next post I'll swatch them all and line them up haha. I have 4 so far, Gilded Garden, Pink Mosaic, Peach Mosaic, and Golden Mosaic! :D I loooooooooove them!!! HG BLUSH!!!

I looove Jordan Almonds!!! Yummy! haha

Anyways, have a wonderful week, ladies! Miss you all!!!

Pray for my VAIO, I want it replaced so baddddd!!! :'(
